Build A Friend: Sock Puppet Craft Session

In "Sock Puppet Stories: Express Yourself," participants will create their very own sock puppets, using colorful materials and imaginative designs. This hands-on crafting session provides a safe and supportive environment where kids can explore their creativity and express themselves through storytelling. No prior crafting experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm!

About the presenters

Ania Jodzio-Spector

Ania Jodzio-Spector, a Montreal local who’s fluent in both english and french. She's a
Concordia grad who now works at a cute eco-friendly bakery in the city's Mile-End borough.
While she has attended a stuttering conference in the States before, this will be her first time
participating in the Canadian Stuttering Association conference.

Rhea Bhalla

Rhea serves on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Stuttering Association, where she coordinates national volunteer and support group programming. She founded both the Prairie Stuttering Support Group and the National Youth Support Group, and co-leads the Family & Youth Programming Committee. Passionate about advocacy and community-building, she has helped design and lead workshops for children, youth, and families, and works closely with the CSA's network of over 300 volunteers to expand programming across Canada.
