These are stressful times, and we are all looking forward to better days ahead. We at the Canadian Stuttering Association, along with many of our members, are excited about our upcoming November conference and a chance to meet and socialize and learn together once again. Due to the success of our one-day conferences that we have been holding for the past six years, 2020 will be a big year as we expand the event and move the conference venue to beautiful Niagara Falls!
The dates of the conference are Saturday and Sunday, November 7 to 8. There is also a casual get-together on the evening of Friday November 6. Attendees will get discounted hotel rates at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, see more info here. Right now, we are looking for workshop submissions. A lot of have time on our hands at the moment, and the opportunity to think and research possible topics and ideas. Please download the form here.
The workshop can take many forms. Some are personal stories and insights about living with stuttering. Others are interactive and involve audience participation in games or panel sessions. Information sessions about research into stuttering and stuttering treatment is also welcome. Here are samples of content from the past few years to use as a guideline. But maybe you have a unique idea that we haven't seen yet! Go for it!
