Join us Monday night to celebrate International Stuttering Awareness Day

cntowerThe Canadian Stuttering Association (CSA) is excited to announce that on October 22, the awe-inspiring CN Tower in Toronto will light up in sea foam green in honour of International Stuttering Awareness Day (ISAD)! If you happen to be in Toronto tonight, see the lights! There will be a group meeting at Olympic Park near the CN Tower at 8 pm. They will have green glow sticks to identify themselves! We hope to capture some nice photos of how Toronto is lighting up to bring awareness to stuttering!

The Toronto City Hall buildings will also mark the day by being lit up in green. This will follow on the heels of the CSA conference on October 20. The International Stuttering Association (ISA) is an advocacy and research entity that promotes awareness and understanding of stuttering around the world. International Stuttering Awareness Day centres around an online conference sponsored by the ISA, where research papers addressing a wide range of topics related to stuttering are submitted and discussed online. This year the conference is entitled "Speak your mind" and will run from October 1 to October 22nd. To submit a paper, you can do so at This email address is being protected from spambots. If you are in Toronto on the night of October 22, don't miss the Toronto city hall building and the CN tower lit up to honour awareness of stuttering!
