Kim Block's illustrated children's book, Adventures of a Stuttering Superhero, is now available in American Sign Language. Since publishing her book, Kim has been busy with radio and tv interviews, as well as giving readings at schools.

This empowering story talks about stuttering in a matter of fact tone with the goal to fostering empathy and acceptance for children who stutter. The art also purposefully reflects all different examples of diversity of abilities, nationality and cultural practices.

This is a book for everyone. We all have challenges and things that make us different, and children can relate and connect to this book even if they do not stutter.

The story is signed by Jennifer, an ASL storyteller and teacher from the BC School for the Deaf. She is the Deaf Studies & ASL instructor for students Kindergarten – Grade 7. Please share and use this free resource, however copyright laws are still connected to the book. This You Tube video is a free resource for children who stutter and Deaf and Hard of Hearing children.
