Advisory Group Member Search
Left Turn Right Turn (LTRT), a private accessibility consulting firm, is looking to add members to its Accessibility Advisory Group! We work with many federally regulated and federal government organizations to help them with accessibility planning.
To help clients who do not have a public face (ex. A nuclear energy regulator) we created the Accessibility Advisory Group (AAG) in 2022. The group consists of people with disabilities from across Canada and we typically ask members to do some background work (learn about the client and prepare for the meeting) and to share their experiences.
Recruiting
We are currently recruiting a member who identifies as having a speech impairment. This is a great opportunity for people who are un- or under-employed, have a flexible schedule, or are looking to supplement their income while influencing accessibility.
- Members of the AAG were paid approximately $4,500 in 2024 for attending approximately 12 meetings.
- Meetings are held on an as-needed basis but they will always be scheduled on Wednesdays from 3-4pm Eastern Time.
