Do you have a story to share? One of the fundraising events we want to do this year is a series of short podcast episodes focusing on resilience, ingenuity, and adaptation. We are interested in interviewing three individuals who feel they have a personal story to share that reflects any or all of these themes. Email us for more information! We will be interviewing this week to prepare the podcasts in time for October 24th.
Jordanne Erichsen is a volunteer with the CSA assisting with media and events. Jordanne's background is in music and Alexander Technique. She now runs Express Voice Studio and works with individuals on their vocal production for singing and public speaking!
Each podcast episode will be between 5-15 minutes. If you are interested in being interviewed, please reach out to Jordanne via email with a very brief outline of the story you would like to share. This could be anything from your experience of entering the work field as an individual who stutters; Coming to terms with your own personal challenges and finding strength from it; Facing an event in which you felt you were at a disadvantage and pushing forward. These are just a few ideas!
To complete the podcast, Jordanne will discuss with you the details of your story and create a list of questions/format for the podcast and share it with you in advance. This way, you will know exactly what angle we are taking with the questions and have time to think about your answers! We will then meet over Zoom or Skype and she will record an audio of the podcast, edit it, and post it on YouTube.
Jordanne looks forward to speaking with you and hearing your story, which we are sure will resonate with many people!
Please contact csa-volunteer@stutter.ca before Thursday October 22nd at 5 PM if you are interested in participating.
