This October's CSA conference is shaping up to be our best yet! With workshop presenters coming from as far away as British Columbia, Quebec, and California for a wonderful mix of fresh new content from first time presenters, as well as updated and brand-new content from familiar faces, there's sure to be something for everyone.

This year's conference will feature keynote speaker David Stones - well-known as a powerful and motivating speaker, David is a retired business executive who is now a poet, performer, spoken word artist, and life-long stutterer.

For the first time ever, this year's CSA conference will also feature a film screening - John Gomez' powerful new documentary film "When I Stutter," which has been described as "the best portrayal of the stuttering experience," "a game changer," and a "must-see for people who stutter, and those who love them." Find out more at whenistutter.org.

Toronto-based CBC sports reporter Ryan Cowley will tell stories from his career as a journalist who stutters, including his 2018 interview with NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, and will talk about when he stopped using his stuttering as an excuse, and started using it to his advantage.

Dr. Gerald Maguire, a psychiatrist who stutters and a world leading expert in the pharmacological treatment for stuttering will share new research updates with us about medical treatments for stuttering.

Improv artist and stand-up comedian Sam Dunsiger will teach participants some improv skills and how learning to let go can help us communicate while we stutter.

To attend these workshops and many more, sign up today for the 2019 CSA conference on October 19 in Toronto! Get Early Bird pricing if you reserve your spot now - visit stutter.ca/conference for more information. See you there!
