The Francophone association for people who stutter, Association des Bégues du Canada, is sponsoring a screening on March 8 of the award winning documentary, When I Stutter.
Following the screening will be a question and answer period with John Gomez, the creator of the film. The screening will take place at the Université du Québec à Montréal on March 8. John Gomez, the When I Stutter filmmaker, is also a practicing speech-language pathologist. The film was made possible by a successful Kickstarter campaign where he raised over $19,000. When I Stutter has been in over 10 film festivals worldwide and has won 7 awards. John has been honored with the Lois V. Douglass Distinguished Alumnus Award from CSULA and the Emerging Filmmaker Award from the Chagrin Documentary Film Festival.
