Ryan will discuss how to command respect as a PWS in the workplace with real-life experiences.
From suggestions on how to feel proud of yourself and your stutter to inviting the audience to share their own experiences, Ryan hopes to have attendees feeling more confident with more ideas on how to command respect and encourage others to listen to them more intently.
I expect to have attendees garnering more confidence with how they deal with their workplace and workmates as People Who Stutter. Hopefully from my experience -- shy and demure for many years to more assertive -- attendees will realize that they, too, deserve respect despite having a stutter, or sharing this with those who do stutter.
