Stuttering has been depicted in literature and other media forms in various ways. This presentation will look at films based on books that feature stuttering, as well as poetry and philosophical texts. What does stuttering signify? What does it say about values and culture? A historical and social analysis will be presented.
Outcomes
People will have an understanding of the meaning behind how stuttering is portrayed.
