Drawing Your Voice: Creating a Cartoon Character of Your Stutter

Join cartoonist Daniele Rossi, creator of Franky Banky, for a hands-on workshop on creating cartoon characters inspired by stuttering. Learn how drawing can help process emotions, express experiences, and support speech therapy. Daniele will guide participants through designing their own character based on their stutter and share how cartooning fosters understanding and communication.

Outcomes

By the end of the workshop, participants will have created their own cartoon character based on their stutter and gained a better understanding of how drawing can help express thoughts and feelings about stuttering. Speech-language pathologists will come away with ideas for using cartooning in their sessions to encourage conversation and help clients explore their experiences with stuttering.
