Propose a workshop for our 2025 CSA Conference!

Proposals are due by June 15, 2025, at 11:59 PM (Eastern Time)

Here are a few points for you to consider before you complete the workshop submission form:

  • Conference registration is required: All workshop presenters are required to register for the conference, which includes paying for a two-day or single-day registration, as suits you. The CSA is unable to provide complimentary registration or financial compensation to presenters. We encourage you to take advantage of Early Bird rates.
  • Adherence to CSA Non-Solicitation Policy is required: For the comfort and protection of conference attendees, we require that all workshops be educational in purpose and free of personal or commercial promotion or solicitation. You may not use our conference to advertise services, businesses or products, nor to collect contact information from attendees for marketing or outreach purposes. Workshop submissions that contradict this policy will be automatically rejected. The CSA Board of Directors will investigate and address any report or evidence of inappropriate self-promotion or solicitation that occurs at the conference.
  • Time allotment: A 60-minute or 1-hour time slot is provided for each workshop. Presenters typically allow 10-15 minutes before the end of the session for questions and/or discussion.
  • You will need your own laptop or device for PowerPoint or video presentations: Workshop rooms are not equipped with computers so you will need to bring your own laptop or device if you plan to share PowerPoint slides or play videos. We can provide a microphone and speaker, projector and screen, HDMI or other cable, flip chart and markers. Let us know at the appropriate place in the submission form.
  • A moderator will be assigned to your session: A moderator will show up 10-15 minutes ahead of the session start ready to greet you and assist with tasks such as room and technical set up, handout distribution, etc. You will be introducing yourself.
  • Workshop presenters in our Youth Program (ages 6-12) must complete a Vulnerable Sector Check once their proposal is accepted.

This form will only save when it is submitted, so make sure you have all your information ready before starting.
