The annual Walkathon to raise money for the Speech and Stuttering Institute and raise awareness of stuttering in the general public was a success once again Sept 22. Although the rain threatened to dampen the event early in the morning, the sun came out just before the walk began giving the walkers a beautiful day to walk and then enjoy a barbecue. Entertainment followed as well with musical acts and some improv comedy with Brian Woo and his fellow improv actors. It was a beautiful day, and money was raised to help people who stutter get therapy.
