Canadian businessman and philanthropist Harold Shipp will be the main draw at a fundraiser for the Speech and Stuttering Institute, an organization that treats stuttering, located in Toronto. His construction company, Shipp Corporation Ltd, has built some of the most recognizeable high rise buildings in Mississauga.

Shipp has dealt with a severe stutter since childhood, yet has not let that hold him back. It was in 1961 at the age of 35 that he first had speech therapy, from a therapist who also treated King George VI.

Tickets to the gala are $250, and include a tax deductible receipt. All proceeds go to the Speech and Stuttering Institute to provide therapy to those in need who otherwise could not afford it. For more information, (and to check out the new website!) go to the Institute's link below.
