Play on Words, a speech camp for children who stutter organized by Closing the Gap Healthcare Group, will be holding five-day programs July 9 – August 3.
These camps are for children who need help with:
- Stuttering (ages 7-12)
- Articulation/Sound Errors (ages 6-12) ( 1⁄ 2 day camp)
- Phonological Awareness (ages 4-6) ( 1⁄ 2 day camp)
- Early Language Development (ages 4-7)
- Social Skills (ages 5-10)
Children will receive:
- An individualized therapy plan created and delivered by Registered Speech-Language Pathologists
- Group therapy
- An opportunity to interact with other children in a communication rich environment
- Opportunities to practice their goals daily through play, craft and music
