Congratulations Alina! 2026 CanStutter "Voices of Tomorrow" Award Winner

The Canadian Stuttering Association is extremely happy to announce this year's recipient of our CanStutter "Voices of Tomorrow" Award: Alina!

Alina has been accepted into the Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Alberta and has a passion for healthcare, advocacy, and community service. As someone who stutters, she has learned the importance of empathy, patience, and advocating for both herself and others. These are values she hopes to carry with her into her future career as a palliative care nurse.

Look for Alina's article on our website coming soon!

On behalf of the CSA Board of Directors, we are honoured to offer this award to Alina! Congratulations Alina!

Because of donations, we are able to continue offering our annual CSA Award of $500 for post-secondary students who stutter who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents!  It is critical that we support our youth and we are grateful to be able to do so! Look for the announcement welcoming CSA 2027 Award applications next spring!
