We would like you to join us in a warm welcome to Navdeep (Nav) Gill, our new Board Director in the role of Fundraising Coordinator!
Navdeep Gill is a Finance and Accounting professional who joins us with an educational background in commerce and accounting and, in his own words, "with over 17 years building trust, designing strategy and mobilizing people and resources toward a shared objective". Nav's experience "partnering with executives and boards to strengthen governance, implement scalable operating models, and drive measurable outcomes across organizations", has enabled him to found and operate as the Principal Advisor of The Inked Ledger Inc., offering accounting and financial services.
As a person who stutters, he shared that he understands the barriers that exist not only in communication, but in participation, confidence, and opportunity. In Nav's words: "Too often, the workplace defines contribution in ways that favour how something is said over the value of what is said, which creates a gap". With this understanding in mind, as Fundraising Coordinator, he plans to focus on the following:
- Building partnerships with organizations committed to accessibility, leadership
development, and inclusive workplaces - Expanding donor channels through corporate engagement, professional networks,
and mission-aligned sponsors - Strengthening grant positioning through clear articulation of impact and measurable
outcomes - Creating structured donor stewardship programs that convert one-time support into
long-term relationships - Aligning fundraising e orts with marketing and communications to ensure
consistent, compelling, and high-visibility messaging
With Navdeep Gill's experience and expertise, along with his inviting personality and eloquence, the Canadian Stuttering Association Board of Directors is looking forward to working with him. WELCOME NAV!
