CanStutter launches new "Participate in Research" website page and form

We have developed a new Participate in Research webpage dedicated to supporting stuttering research. The research page is located beneath the Get Involved tab on the top menu bar of the CanStutter home page.

Did you know that the hardest part of doing stuttering research isn’t coming up with good questions, designing a study, analyzing the data, or writing for publication? The hardest part of stuttering research is finding people to participate in the studies! Without participants, knowledge is stalled and our hopes are dimmed.

We recognize the importance of participating and contributing to research and we encourage you to stay informed and consider if and how you can help.

The Participate in Research page lists studies that were submitted to CanStutter by researchers who are currently recruiting for their studies. An end of recruitment date is shown for each study.

Researchers, submit your studies and research recruitment scripts!

Participate in Research includes a link through which researchers can submit their studies and recruitment scripts for consideration. Only studies with ethics board approval are considered.

CanStutter will assist research recruitment through the Participate in Research page, our monthly newsletter and social media platforms.
