Bio

My name is Rhea, and I’m a person who stutters. I’ve been volunteering with the CSA since I founded the Calgary Stuttering Support Group at the age of fourteen. Since then, I’ve taken on many exciting roles with the CSA, including leading the Youth Support Group and co-leading the Family and Youth Programming Committee. As Volunteer Coordinator, I lead and support volunteers — so to those interested in getting involved with the CSA, I’ll be your first point of contact!

In 2023, I began my first year of studies at the University of Manitoba. As the elected first-year accessibility community representative on the student council, I work to make the campus more inclusive for students with disabilities. School aside, you can find me sketching, writing articles as a reporter for my university’s newspaper, or finding hidden coffee spots around Winnipeg!
