Intro to I-I-I-Improv!

Explore improv as a stutterer! It’s like theatre but much more relaxed, with no pressure to deliver a line at the perfect moment. Improv is about collaborating to create scenes on the spot, building them based on whatever ideas pop into your mind. It runs on creativity, not speed. Through improv, you quickly see that nobody needs to speak perfectly

Outcomes

Participants:
-Feel encouraged to speak with a supportive environment with others who also stutter / are in the community.
-Feel emboldened to speak when they have an idea.
-Are reminded that what comes to mind doesn't have to come out perfectly, be perfectly worded all the time, or said with speed.
In improv, people work as a community - a sense of humans supporting other humans - an effort that can often also be found in everyday life.
