Ryan plans to read poems from his book, “Tongue-Tied & Bona Fide: Personal Poetry on Stuttering, Sports & Success.” He will recite and discuss a selection of his poems and explaining the inspiration behind each one.

What to expect

I expect those attendings to get in touch with their own creative side and be inspired to express themselves in their own way creatively, whether it’d be writing, drawing, painting, music, et cetera.

About the presenter

Ryan Cowley has been a sportswriter, is an author and a podcaster. Ryan is also a public speaker, having spoken to over 70 schools across North America. He has also been named by the World Stuttering Network as one of 2023’s Top 100 Influencers in the stuttering community.
