Stuttering and the Performing Arts Panel

Carla DiDomenicantonio (Moderator)

Saturday 1:15PM - 2:15PM EDT

This interactive panel will feature three performing artists from the Canadian stuttering community: Samuel Dunsiger, a Toronto-based comedian and improv artist; David Stones, a poet and stage performer; and, Francois Goudreault, a singer-songwriter and musician. How did they discover their art, and how do they approach performing in front of large audiences as persons who stutter? Following initial questions from the panel moderator, the audience will be invited to interact with the artists, asking questions and sharing insightful discussion. Artists have graciously agreed to sign books and CDs during the post-session intermission. A limited number of books and CDs will be available for on-site purchase.
