Meet the Authors Panel

Carla DiDomenicantonio (Moderator)

Saturday 10:45AM - 11:45AM EDT

You have just finished school, and now you’re looking to start your career. Sounds simple enough, right? But! You stutter. That complicates everything… Or does it? In this workshop, a group of successful persons who stutter will share their triumphs and hardships with stuttering in their career, and how they made their career work for them with their stutter. After, there will be a question and answer period for you to ask the panelists your questions and share your thoughts. By the end of this workshop, we hope you will be given clarity and a new perspective on your stutter and your career!

What to expect

Authors from the Canadian stuttering community will have an opportunity to showcase their books and talk about their purpose in writing about stuttering. All three books present a different angle to stuttering. Audience members will have the opportunity to learn more and to question the authors. The session may inspire others to write about stuttering.
