What are the neurological factors that make singing fluency enhancing for many PWS? What benefits does singing have for PWS, particularly choral singing? Lisa will be joined by two panelists: Arla Good, co-founder of the SingWell initiative (www.singwell.ca), an international research study investigating the biopsychosocial effects of group singing in older adulthood; and Sina Falla, the founder and director of the Centre for Music Education & Cognition (C-MEC), which develops music-education methods for individuals with exceptionalities.


What to expect

The audience will receive information on the benefits of singing for social anxiety, leads to virtual and in - person choirs to join. The workshop will cover scientific research and personal experiences from experts in the field.
