Advocacy ParentsThis will be a chance for parents of children who stutter to come together, share stories, and offer support to one another. We will touch on unique topics related to parenting a child who stutters.
What to expect
Parents will learn from each other and come away with additions to their toolkit to help their child(ren) who stutter(s), in addition to a knowledge that they are not alone, that there is a network of us. They will also gain a renewed belief in their own ability to help and support.About the presenter
Eeva Stierwalt is the mother and supporter of Alexandra D’Agostino, an R.N., a daugher, a girlfriend, a musician who happens to be a person who stutters. Eeva is an IT professional at the London Public Library in London, Ontario, Canada and is also the Chair and National Coordinator of the CSA.
