Only a few more days until our annual conference, and your CSA conference planning committee is hard at work! In our September newsletter we talked about this year’s workshops for parents. Teens, we haven’t forgotten you! For teens and young adults attending, the CSA’s own Alexandra D’Agostino will be debuting a brand new workshop titled “Speed Friending” to help teens and young adults meet others who stutter, and Audrey Bigras will lead a discussion about what it’s like to stutter at school! SLP Carla Di Domenicantonio will be leading a casual conversation for SLPs to discuss how to better serve the stuttering community. Robert O’Brien, travelling across the country from Vancouver, will talk about his own journey with stuttering which has led him to a place of humour, vulnerability, and realizing there’s nothing to “fix”.
And, for the first time ever, this year’s conference will feature a 50/50 fundraiser - we’ll accept credit cards, but bringing cash will make it easier!
We’re so excited to see you all in Toronto on October 19th! This year’s conference is shaping up to be our biggest yet! Register here
